Reset the Parental Controls on the Wii

If you’ve bought a second hand Wii, or just forgotten what you set the parental control PIN to (even after the security question reminder), help is available.  Following the following steps to reset the parental controls on the Wii.

• Click on the Wii icon on the System Menu Select the Wii Settings icon (the wrench)
• Scroll to the second screen and select Parental Controls
• Confirm that you want to change the settings
• Select “I forgot” at the PIN prompt and the security question prompt
• Go to http://wii.marcansoft.com/parental.wsgi on a computer and enter the confirmation code from the Nintendo Wii, selecting the correct date (the one the Wii is set to).
• Enter the code on the next screen on the Wii and you should get a message confirming controls have been disabled!
